The friendly staff enhanced my experience, lending me a kayak early in the morning to catch the sunrise. However, I did encounter noise from a nearby restaurant and experienced inconsistent cleaning services, which could be improved upon.

Stains on sheets and towels are noticeable and give a less pristine appearance than expected. Bathroom fixtures show signs of age, lacking modern updates.

the noise is unbearable! glass doors let every sound in—roosters included. the cleaning? only when you remember to ask, who has time for that? i expected a welcome gift or at least a room upgrade for the trouble. the sheets have stains, but who’s counting, right? i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks away from the central park and lagoon, making it convenient for exploring Bacalar. Additionally, the clean and spacious room provided a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a day of work.
